Assigning Learning and Enrolling in a course

There are a number of ways a learner can be enrolled in a course within the system.

Instructions

A user enrols in a catalogue item

    1. Go to the portal 'home'
    2. Select 'Browse Learning' at the top of the screen
    3. Scroll through the catalogue to find the desired catalogue item. The learner can use the Search Catalogue box to find a specific Catalogue item.

Assign Learning Wizard

The Assign Learning wizard is useful when you wish make enrolments with multiple users and/or catalogue items.

    1. Select the drop down menu in the top right corner of the screen (Three lines symbol) and select ‘Manage Learning’.
    2. From ‘Manage Learning’, select ‘Assign Learning’ in the left menu.
    3. Enter all or part of the name of the course you are enrolling the users in - e.g. Umpire.
    4. Select the '+' to next to the required course. You can enrol a user in more than one course here. To assign users to more than one catalogue item, search for additional catalogue items and select the '+' for those too.
    5. Select 'Next' to go to Users
    6. Search for each user you wish to enrol in the chosen catalogue item/s. Select the '+' for these users.
    7. Select 'Next' to go to Delivery
    8. Chooser the options you desire for delivery.
    9. Select 'Next' to go to 'Review'
    10. Review your choices. if you wish to make a change select 'Back' to return to that step and make required changes.
    11. When you have reviewed your changes select 'Finish'
    12. A summary of the enrolment will be sent to the user who set up the enrolments and each user enrolled.

Manage Catalogue

    1. Select the drop down menu in the top right corner of the screen (Three lines symbol) and select ‘Manage Learning’.
    2. From ‘Manage Learning’, select ‘Manage Catalogue’ in the left menu.
    3. Select the relevant tab for the catalogue item (e.g. 'Available in Catalogue' or 'Not in Catalogue')
    4. Search for the required Catalogue Item.
    5. For your required catalogue item select the number in the 'Number Of enrolments' column. This will list all users enrolled in this catalogue item. Search the list for the user you wish to enrol.
    6. If you cannot find the user you wish to enrol select 'Enrol'
    7. Search for the user your require by entering of the user's details in 'Select User'
    8. Select the user you require
    9. Select 'Add'
    10. Repeat for any further users you wish to enrol in this course.
