If you have the search bar active on your DNN site, you can set what appears in the results. Blogs, Forums, Users etc.

By default Users will appear in these results which is not altogether desirable so, to turn this off and other things follow the steps below:
 

1. Login in as Admin or Host
2. Go the search results page, the easy way is to search for something :)
3. Change the page to edit mode
4. Select the settings cog for the search module
5. Go to the "Search Results Settings" tab
6. Select the Results Scope drop down list box
7. Select or De-select users or any other resource you want in your search results
8. Select 'Update'

All done, your users now won't appear in your search results
